What is it?
Muse Magazine was a personal project in an attempt to study layout and print design. The magazine and its article were designed and written by me, with the subject being Gothic architecture. There is a print component as well as a digital component as a part of this project.
The Print Version
This magazine was completely created by myself and a partner designer. We were tasked with using grids, layout design, copywriting, and image manipulation to create our own product. The information in the magazine was written by me, and everything in the layout for this issue was done by me as well.
This was an exercise in flexibility. Being able to learn the necessary tools to create a magazine article without the aid of an instructor is key to working in the industry. While it was challenging, the end result was well received.
